Admitad client in Poland, a leading international consumer electronics platform, introduced tracking promo codes to its affiliate programs and engaged creative content creators to promote them. In just a few months the advertiser celebrated the best results in the history of cooperation with Admitad, with year-on-year sales increases exceeding 100%. and higher activity during the summer low season compared to previous hot shopping seasons. The client is a global e-commerce platform specializing in a wide range of electronic products, including household appliances, electric vehicles, 3D printers, and cutting-edge tech gadgets. Known for competitive pricing, technical support in Polish, frequent promotions, and warranty services of up to two years, the platform has established a strong foothold in the Polish market.
The platform has relied on affiliate marketing for years, collaborating with Admitad since 2016 and launching its Polish affiliate program in 2018. However, as Poland’s e-commerce market matured, competition intensified. Rival electronics retailers and international platforms began aggressively utilizing performance marketing, making it harder for the client to maintain a competitive edge through its affiliate program alone.
To address this, the client asked Admitad to devise innovative strategies to enhance the affiliate program’s revenue-generating capabilities.
The campaign aimed to test fresh promotional strategies in preparation for H2 2024 and the critical holiday shopping season. The client sought to determine how new promotional methods and engaging various publisher types could drive greater consumer interest in their offerings. A more effective affiliate program would provide a competitive edge over rival electronics retailers during major shopping events like Black Week and the December holiday season.
Admitad introduced a groundbreaking strategy: discount codes that allowed easy tracking of orders without relying on affiliate links. Each publisher was assigned a unique discount code, simplifying the tracking process and overcoming challenges posed by ad blockers and restrictive browser privacy settings.
The campaign, launched in mid-July 2024, targeted two key publisher groups. To ensure a stable inflow of new orders, Admitad collaborated with trusted coupon platforms known for their consistent performance in other programs.. At the same time, the Admitad team recruited YouTube and TikTok influencers focusing on tech innovations and niche product categories (e.g., drones and electric bikes). These creators used innovative approaches to promote discount codes, including live streams, unboxings, TikTok challenges, quizzes, and surveys.
First months of using promo codes brought the highest results in the history of the client’s affiliate program:
Notably, August’s GMV surpassed November 2023 by nearly 15%, an extraordinary feat considering November typically sees peak sales due to events like Singles’ Day and Black Week. These results offered an excellent forecast for the upcoming holiday shopping season.
